As a necessity of people’s daily life, casual shoes play an important role in our lives. We need to wear shoes every day and change different kinds of shoes according to different occasions. The casual everyday shoes we wear mainly have 6 kinds of shoe production process, which are shoe model making process, gluing process, thermal vulcanization process, injection molding process, molding process and sewing process.
Model making process
Model making is to use a special shoe-making CAD, through the shoe model maker to complete the opening, grading, and calculation of shoe models on the computer, and then output by cutting and drawing equipment. This is a relatively strict job which requires professional technology.
Gluing process
Footwear adhesive process is currently the most widely used process in the shoe industry. The advantages of this process are that it is suitable for various materials, has high production efficiency, and is suitable for assembly line operations.
Hot vulcanization process
The thermal vulcanization process of shoes is divided into thermal vulcanization paste process and thermal vulcanization molding process, the former is more widely used. The heat-vulcanized shoe-making process is mainly used in the production of rubber-soled shoes such as tourist shoes, new sports shoes and sports casual shoes. The main process of the hot vulcanization paste process is as below, shoe upper manufacturing-rubber parts manufacturing-molding-vulcanization-last off.
Injection molding process
Injection molding is a method of making injected shoes. This process is mostly used in footwear such as travel shoes, rain boots women, and running trainers. The injection molding process is divided into the whole shoe injection molding process (the upper is made separately) and the sole injection molding process. The sole injection molding process can be divided into a single-color injection molding process and a multi-color injection molding process. The main process of the injection molding process is to compress the material in the injection molding device, then convert the solid plastic into a fluid, and then inject the fluid plastic into the cavity of the shoe through the injection channel of the mold, and obtain the injection moulding shoes after cooling.
Molding process
The molding process is widely used in footwear that requires high binding strength of the upper and sole, such as waterproof work boots and military boots. The molding process is divided into two types, stretch-up molding and laster molding. The main process of the stretch-up molding process is to fuzz the stretched upper, apply adhesive, and put it on the aluminum last of the same model of the molding machine, and then put the rubber in the bottom mold. After the molding machine heats, the rubber material is melted and pressed at the same time to be tightly synthesized with the shoe upper, then the whole process is basically completed.
Sewing process
The sewing process is a traditional shoe-making process. The basic feature of the sewing process is that the upper and the bottom are combined with special hemp thread. The sewing process is more complicated and the technical requirements are relatively high. It fully reflects a person’s technological ability and skills. Sewing process mostly used in the production of high-end leather shoes.
The above is a brief introduction about the production process of shoes. Do you have a better understanding of shoes now?
